Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions for our core infrastructure during weekend maintenance windows.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues that arise during low-traffic periods to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with the QA and DevOps teams to implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of engineering excellence.
- Document technical architecture and provide clear guidance to junior developers.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across all services.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a relevant language (Java, Python, Go, or C++).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience working with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts and be on-call during critical maintenance periods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
