Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices using modern frameworks
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure for weekend deployment cycles
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines for weekend sprints
- Troubleshoot complex production issues during weekend on-call rotations
- Mentor junior engineers through our weekend pairing sessions
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with our tech stack
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend/frontend development
- Expertise in Python, Java, or JavaScript with cloud platforms
- Proven track record with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)
- Strong problem-solving skills for weekend production incidents
- Experience with agile methodologies and weekend sprint cycles
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable system architecture
