Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using Python, Java, and modern frameworks
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture on AWS and Azure platforms
- Lead weekend development sprints with agile methodologies, ensuring sprint goals are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and performant solutions
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation best practices
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with weekend shift exposure
- Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Proven ability to deliver projects in agile environments with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in production environments
- Willingness to relocate to Fort Worth with relocation assistance package
