In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our infrastructure and deploying high-stakes updates during off-peak hours. You will work closely with a team of elite engineers to ensure our platforms remain robust, scalable, and secure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions for weekend maintenance and support.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features and system architecture.
- Optimize existing codebases to improve performance and reduce technical debt.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical weekend support.
- Document system changes and create technical runbooks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development (Java, Python, or C# preferred).
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to work independently during weekend shifts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
