Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software features for our core platforms.
- Execute weekend maintenance tasks, including database backups, patching, and security updates.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define technical requirements.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Document technical architecture and maintain technical documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Mandatory availability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
