Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS for high-availability systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features bi-weekly
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Implement robust security protocols and data encryption standards
- Monitor system performance using Datadog and Prometheus
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with our tech stack
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming and software design
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar backend languages
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 8AM-4PM)
