Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java/Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code with AWS/GCP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Agile methodologies
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Lead weekend deployments and system monitoring rotations
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong grasp of OOP, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Weekend shift availability mandatory (Sat-Sun 8am-6pm)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Portfolio showcasing full-stack projects required
