Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy microservices using cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP)
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on weekend team
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for weekend release cycles
- Optimize system performance for 24/7 global infrastructure
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical requirements
- Document architecture decisions and maintain engineering standards
- Troubleshoot production issues during weekend operational windows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with weekend shift preference
- Expertise in at least one modern language (Java/Python/Go/Rust)
- Strong foundation in distributed systems and cloud platforms
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges
