Our weekend shift (Friday-Sunday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work on challenging projects while avoiding weekday traffic. Relocation assistance includes up to $5,000 for moving expenses and 30 days of temporary housing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Java, Python, and AWS cloud services
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues during weekend operational hours
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during weekend shifts
