Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using cloud-native technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Lead weekend deployments and system maintenance with zero-downtime strategies
- Collaborate with global teams using Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize system performance and security for 24/7 production environments
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Contribute to open-source projects and innovation sprints
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Java/Python/C++)
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and API design
- Experience with weekend shift operations or on-call rotations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Active security clearance preferred
