Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs using Python/Node.js
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on aggressive weekend sprint cycles
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices using AWS and Docker
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers during weekend shifts
- Document architecture decisions and technical specifications
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software development with Python or JavaScript
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and testing frameworks
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
