Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems and resolve critical incidents during weekend shifts.
- Execute scheduled maintenance, patching, and deployments outside of business hours.
- Write clean, scalable code and perform code reviews for weekend teams.
- Collaborate with the 24/7 support team to troubleshoot complex backend issues.
- Document incident reports and post-mortem analysis.
- Ensure system security and compliance during off-hour maintenance windows.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C++).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively during night/weekend shifts.
