Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Design, implement, and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern technologies and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Engineering) in Kansas City and New York to define requirements and deliver features.
- Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, then refactor code to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Testing: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system stability.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise technical documentation for all systems and APIs.
- Agile Methodology: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within an Agile/Scrum framework.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript (React/Node.js preferred). Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team across time zones.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Kansas City, MO with provided assistance.
