The Role:
As a Senior Analyst on our Night Shift, you will proactively hunt for threats, manage alerts, and respond to incidents with precision. Your role is critical in ensuring the integrity of our clients' data across the United States.
Responsibilities
- 24/7 Threat Monitoring: Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential breaches.
- Incident Response: Lead the technical investigation, containment, and eradication of cyber security incidents during off-hours.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and malicious actors hiding within the network.
- Vulnerability Management: Oversee the remediation of critical vulnerabilities and ensure patch compliance across infrastructure.
- Report Generation: Create detailed after-action reports and trend analyses to improve our security posture.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with Day Shift teams and external law enforcement or incident response partners when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Network Security role.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC GCIH is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, FireEye, or similar), Firewall management, and endpoint protection.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
