The Role:
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from conception and design to implementation and testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and sprint planning to ensure project milestones are met.
- Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks in existing code and database structures to improve system performance.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure the reliability and security of our products.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience in a professional setting.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Express).
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
