Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for 99.99% uptime during weekend deployment windows
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation for cross-functional Scrum teams
- Debug and resolve production issues with rapid response SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with our engineering roadmap
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud-native development
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with strong algorithm fundamentals
- Proven track record with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- AWS/Azure/GCP certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with data structures and design patterns
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools (Slack, Jira, Confluence)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architectures and deployments
