Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Python
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture sessions
- Implement security best practices including OAuth2 and data encryption
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with company initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in at least one modern framework (React, Spring Boot, Django)
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating full-stack development projects
- Ability to relocate to San Antonio or New York with relocation assistance
