Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Optimize high-throughput payment processing systems for 99.99% uptime
- Implement security protocols for PCI compliance and data encryption
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Kubernetes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Kotlin
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Strong SQL knowledge with experience in PostgreSQL/MongoDB
- Proficient in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and TDD principles
- Experience with payment gateways or financial systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
