Responsibilities
- System Design: Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of high-availability software applications using modern microservices patterns.
- Development Lifecycle: Develop, test, and deploy clean, efficient, and maintainable code across multiple platforms and devices.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze application performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies to ensure speed and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
- Code Review: Participate in rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and security.
- Problem Solving: Debug complex technical issues and troubleshoot production incidents to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Documentation: Create clear technical documentation, API specifications, and architecture diagrams for the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience in a corporate environment.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with experience in JavaScript/TypeScript being a plus.
- Databases: Solid experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Cloud: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Tools: Proficient in version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Agile: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
