As a part-time contributor, you will leverage your expertise to build robust systems that power complex financial derivatives. We offer a competitive hourly rate and a substantial equity options package.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance algorithms for equity options pricing and volatility surface modeling.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate complex mathematical models into efficient code.
- Optimize existing trading engines to reduce latency and improve throughput in volatile market conditions.
- Build and support RESTful APIs that feed real-time market data to our client-facing platforms.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices for financial software engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, and SQL.
- Deep understanding of financial derivatives, specifically equity options and stochastic calculus.
- Experience with low-latency systems and distributed computing architectures.
- Proven track record of delivering software in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
