Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and code scalable software solutions using modern technologies to support our core product lines.
- Night Operations: Monitor system performance, handle critical bug fixes, and deploy updates during off-peak hours to minimize downtime.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to strict industry standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Debugging: Identify and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C#, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Availability: Must be available and willing to work a Night Shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM or similar).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with remote teams.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Washington DC (Relocation assistance provided).
