Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Python, Java, and Go
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Debug and resolve production issues during night shift coverage
- Collaborate with global teams via asynchronous communication tools
- Mentor junior engineers through technical documentation and pair programming
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with backend development in cloud environments
- Proficiency in at least one: Python, Java, or Go
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable communicating across time zones and asynchronous workflows
