Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java/Python
- Implement security protocols and CI/CD pipelines for 24/7 operations
- Collaborate globally with cross-functional teams during handover periods
- Optimize system performance for high-availability night shift requirements
- Lead incident response during off-hours with on-call rotation
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Contribute to architecture decisions for cloud-native applications
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development (Java/Python preferred)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of security best practices and DevOps principles
- Proven track record of delivering high-availability systems
- Comfortable working independently during night shift hours
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
