Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend systems during night shift hours
- Collaborate with global teams to resolve production issues during off-peak periods
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated night-time deployments
- Optimize database queries and API performance for low-traffic windows
- Document system architecture and create technical specifications
- Participate in agile sprint planning and retrospectives
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with Java, Python, or Go
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent problem-solving skills for production debugging
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
