Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions tailored for night-optimized operations.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues and system failures that occur during off-peak hours.
- Perform routine maintenance, security patches, and database updates to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with the remote day-shift team via async communication to implement sprint goals and features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Monitor system performance and proactively optimize resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, C++, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote night-shift environment.
- Deep understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and API development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
