Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications for our equity trading and financial platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance during critical night shifts to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features and technical specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using Agile methodologies.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality standards.
- Optimize database queries and application performance for speed and scalability.
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with proficiency in Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience working in a Night Shift environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with financial markets or equity options trading systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
