Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers and frontend developers to deliver robust software solutions.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues during critical off-hours maintenance windows.
- Optimize database queries and system architecture to improve scalability and speed.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure system security and compliance with internal standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with a focus on backend development.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of working in a Night Shift environment or the ability to adapt to shift work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
