Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java/Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate testing for 24/7 system reliability
- Optimize application performance and resolve critical production issues
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Contribute to architectural decisions for enterprise-scale applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with night shift preference
- Expertise in Java, Python, and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS) and DevOps tools
- Strong background in RESTful APIs and database optimization
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- Proven ability to work independently in remote environments
