Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance backend services using Java/Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines in AWS/Azure
- Optimize database queries and troubleshoot production issues in real-time
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Document architecture decisions and maintain system documentation
- Participate in agile ceremonies while maintaining sprint velocity
- Implement security protocols and compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience with night shift flexibility
- Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases
