Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java, Python, or Node.js
- Collaborate with global teams via Agile methodologies to deliver 24/7 system reliability
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers during night shift rotations
- Contribute to architectural decisions for scalable microservices
- Automate testing frameworks and ensure 99.9% uptime SLA compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of backend development experience with cloud platforms
- Proficiency in at least one: Java, Python, or Go
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (8 PM - 6 AM MST)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and production debugging experience
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required
