Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer at Nexus Digital, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust, scalable code.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new and existing software applications to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to the technical architecture of the platform.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues to ensure system stability and performance.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
