Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer at Apex Data Systems, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features that enhance user experience and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Coding Standards: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with product managers, designers, and other engineers in an agile environment to define features and technical requirements.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough unit and integration testing to ensure software stability, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specs, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and technical debt reduction within the codebase.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Languages: Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js/React), or C#.
- Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Docker).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
