Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Optimize database performance through SQL query tuning and caching strategies
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Lead architectural discussions for new feature integrations
- Resolve production issues through systematic debugging and root cause analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Proficient in SQL databases and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB/Redis)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
