Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications for our equity options trading systems.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to translate financial requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, Java, or C++.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural planning, and technical decision-making processes.
- Debug complex issues and optimize system performance for low-latency trading environments.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and high availability of our trading platforms.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to guarantee software stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least two major programming languages (Python, Java, C++).
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL solutions.
- Understanding of financial markets, specifically equity options and derivatives, is a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
