Responsibilities
- Develop & Deploy: Architect and maintain high-performance, low-latency software systems for Equity Options execution engines.
- Algorithm Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing trading logic and refactor code to improve throughput and reduce latency.
- System Integration: Integrate third-party market data feeds and FIX protocol bridges seamlessly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with quantitative analysts and product managers to translate complex financial requirements into robust software solutions.
- Testing & QA: Implement rigorous unit and integration testing strategies to ensure 99.99% system uptime.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and scale backend infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in fintech, high-frequency trading, or financial services.
- Language: Proficiency in Python and C++ (or Go/Java) for backend development.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of Equity Options pricing models and market mechanics.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience with multithreading, asynchronous programming, and WebSocket protocols.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
