Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high-performance, scalable software solutions for our equity options trading platform.
- Optimize existing trading engines to reduce latency and improve execution speed in volatile market conditions.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts and traders to translate complex financial models into efficient code.
- Design and implement real-time data ingestion pipelines to handle massive volumes of market data.
- Maintain and upgrade our cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Conduct code reviews, perform rigorous testing, and mentor junior engineers to maintain the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in the fintech or high-frequency trading sector.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Java.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency patterns.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
- Clearance to work with sensitive financial data is a plus.
