Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading engines and risk management platforms.
- Implement and optimize algorithms for real-time equity options data processing.
- Ensure system stability and uptime during critical night operations and market hours.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate complex financial models into efficient code.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions to ensure scalability.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in high-stakes production environments.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Java, or Python.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, specifically equity options and derivatives.
- Experience working in Night Shift or 24/7 operational environments.
- Experience with SQL, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
