Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain low-latency software for equity options execution and clearing.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics during night hours, troubleshooting issues immediately.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to optimize overnight trading algorithms.
- Implement robust security measures and data encryption for financial transactions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Document system architecture and operational procedures for the night shift team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Java with a focus on high-performance computing.
- Experience with low-latency trading systems, specifically within options or futures markets.
- Proven ability to work night shifts and rotating schedules effectively.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for this role.
