Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions for equity options trading platforms.
- Optimize existing algorithms and database queries to improve system latency and throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain code quality, ensure best practices, and conduct code reviews.
- Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive financial data.
- Debug complex issues in production environments and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in FinTech.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably in FinTech or high-frequency trading.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ for backend development.
- Experience with React, Angular, or Node.js for frontend integration.
- Familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.
- Understanding of financial markets, specifically equity options, is a major plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
