Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, high-performance software solutions for equity options trading systems.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and product managers to define technical requirements and product roadmaps.
- Optimize database queries and application code to ensure low-latency performance in volatile market conditions.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct regular code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and architecture reviews.
- Identify and resolve technical debt to ensure system scalability and long-term stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Java, or Python.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning.
- Familiarity with financial markets, derivatives, or equity options is highly desirable.
