Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features with a focus on security and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and technical architecture planning to ensure best practices.
- Contribute to the development and administration of our Equity Management system, ensuring accurate tracking of stock options.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct technical training sessions to foster a knowledge-sharing culture.
- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks to ensure high system availability and uptime.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement innovative solutions to business problems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in the fintech or tech industry.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with experience in React or Angular for frontend development.
- Deep understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with financial equity instruments, stock options, or related financial software is a major plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first or hybrid setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
