Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go, Python, and Node.js
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Terraform
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers through daily standups
- Debug and resolve production issues with real-time monitoring tools
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Document architecture decisions and API specifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with cloud-native applications
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and database optimization
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest, Go testing)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Security-first approach with OWASP compliance knowledge
- Portfolio demonstrating contributions to open-source projects
