Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using modern frameworks (Node.js, Python, Go)
- Optimize system performance and database queries for high-frequency trading platforms
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices in CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Drive architectural decisions for cloud-native deployments on AWS/Azure
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with cloud-native applications
- Expertise in distributed systems and high-throughput data processing
- Strong proficiency in at least two programming languages (Python, Java, C++, or Rust)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
- Deep understanding of financial systems and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR)
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade fintech applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
