Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions for defense and aerospace applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and project milestones
- Implement secure, scalable architectures using AWS/GCP and containerization technologies
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure system reliability
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Document technical specifications and contribute to our engineering best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in agile development ceremonies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong coding fundamentals
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, or C++)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in regulated environments
