Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot in AWS cloud environment
- Lead API development and integration with payment gateways and third-party services
- Optimize database performance for high-transaction PostgreSQL systems
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architectural discussions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and security best practices
- Experience with relational databases and caching strategies
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, pytest)
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with JIRA
