Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security tools, including SIEM solutions (Splunk, LogRhythm).
- Enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure infrastructure.
- Prepare and present security reports and dashboards to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and common network protocols.
- Experience with endpoint protection solutions (EDR) and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure during incidents.
