We are looking for a visionary UX/UI Designer to join our award-winning team in Columbus, OH. As a key member of our Product team, you will define the visual language of our products, ensuring our solutions are not only beautiful but intuitive and accessible to all users. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into seamless user journeys.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and define user personas and journey maps.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma, ensuring alignment with design systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to deliver high-quality, scalable design solutions.
- Advocate for the user voice in all design decisions, ensuring accessibility standards (WCAG) are met.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders clearly and persuasively.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably within the technology or e-commerce sector.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of projects, including mobile and web applications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Photoshop.
- Experience with HTML/CSS and basic front-end development knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex design decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies.
