Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes for SaaS and mobile applications serving diverse user groups
- Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing in Arctic environments
- Design high-fidelity prototypes and interactive flows using Figma and Adobe XD
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with business objectives
- Establish and maintain design systems ensuring consistency across products
- Analyze user behavior data to iterate on design solutions
- Mentor junior designers and promote design best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX design experience with portfolio showcasing complex enterprise solutions
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping tools
- Strong background in user research methodologies and accessibility standards
- Experience working with remote teams and distributed user bases
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of Alaska's unique cultural and environmental context preferred
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences
