Responsibilities
- Lead User Research: Conduct in-depth user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to uncover insights that drive product strategy.
- Design Excellence: Create wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and interactive mockups in Figma, ensuring a seamless user journey from concept to launch.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business goals into intuitive design solutions.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain our company-wide design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all products.
- Accessibility: Champion WCAG compliance and inclusive design practices to ensure our products are usable by everyone.
- Mentorship: Guide junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design projects, including process documentation.
- Tools: Mastery of Figma and prototyping tools; familiarity with design handoff tools (Zeplin, Figma Dev Mode).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to non-technical audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Agile: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
