We're seeking a visionary professional to lead end-to-end design projects in a fully remote environment with quarterly on-site collaboration in Irvine. You'll shape product strategy through user research, create intuitive interfaces, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that delight users and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead user research initiatives including interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Adobe XD
- Develop comprehensive design systems and maintain component libraries
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure seamless implementation
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Mentor junior designers and promote design excellence across the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing complex digital products
- Expertise in user research methodologies and information architecture
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design iteration
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design rationale
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
